PPoPP 2009 Hotel Information

The PPoPP 2009 Symposium will take place at the Raleigh Marriott City Center, located at 501 Fayettefille Street, Raleigh, NC 27601.

Hotel Room Block

A room block has been reserved for the nights of February 14-18 at the special conference rate of $149.00 (plus tax) per night, single or double occupancy.

Why stay at the conference hotel? It's the center of conference activity, that's why! You'll be able to network easily with other conference attendees. It's a quick trip to get to the program and functions, and just as quick to nip back your room for a break. You'll have a better conference experience. That's obvious. Making Your Reservation

You may make your reservation by phone or on-line:

On-line: Go to http://cwp.marriott.com/rdumc/ppopp/, which is already configured for PPoPP 2009 reservations.
On-line alternate:
1. Go to www.marriott.com
2. Enter Raleigh, NC and dates of your stay and click FIND
3. A list of hotels will come up, look for the Raleigh Marriott City Center and click SELECT
4. Enter Group Code: ACMACMA (not case sensitive) in the lower left 'Special Rates & Awards' box
5. Click 'Check Rates & Availability'
6. ASSC OF COMP MACHN Room Block @ $149.00 will come up, click on 'Reserve a Room'
7. Enter required information
By phone: The reservation number is 1-800-228-9290. Please ask for the "Association of Computing Machinery" room block to obtain the negotiated conference rate.

Check-in time at the hotel is 3:00pm, and check-out time is noon. Guests are responsible for all room charges.

Reservation Cutoff Date

To obtain rooms at the negotiated conference rate, reservations MUST be made by January 29, 2009.

Cancellation Policy

To avoid penalty, the hotel requires that reservations be cancelled at least 72 hours hours prior to the scheduled day of arrival.

By Car
Take I-40E toward Raleigh. S Saunders St. exit - 298 toward downtown. Merge onto S Saunders, 401 N. Continue on 401 N. Turn right onto Lenoir St. Parking Garage will be on left entrance side of the hoel off Lenoir St. For valet parking coninue past the parking garage entrance and turn left onto Fayetteville St. (The fee for on-site parking is $18.00 daily.)
